We will write a few animations and  basic games using the javascript programming language. Our code will run in a web browser. At the end of the day, we will post our work to the internet to share with your friends and family. Along the way, you’ll learn some basics of programming, animation, and web technologies. We hope you’ll have fun and that the day will whet your apptetite to the amazing world of creating software!

Entrepreneurs from Greater Lafayette area will soon have the chance to build high-tech applications, over a single weekend of intensive 54-hour co-working activity, February 10-12, 2012.

More on Mamoon – Mamoon Hamid, a 1997 Purdue ECE graduate who went on to earn a master’s degree from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard University. He is currently a general partner with The Social+Capital Partnership, a relatively new venture fund formed by former Facebook executive Chamath Palihapitiya. He recently left U. S. Venture Partners (USVP), a long-established Venture Capital fund in Silicon Valley, to help start a new VC fund called The Social+Capital Partnership. He has invested in a number of companies over the years and helped companies like Box.net, Yelp and Yammer in the earliest stages of their development.

Special guest Jan. 30: Michael Wilson of Pfizer. Michael’s topic is very straight forward for a savvy entrepreneur: “11:11 {Even a broken clock is right twice a day}“.
